How do I create a family tree?
- Log in to your account.
- Click on + Create Family Tree button.
- Enter your Family Name.
- Upload a photo.
- Click the Create Family Tree button in the box.
How do I edit the name of a Family Tree?
- Click on “edit” (pencil) icon.
- Update the name of your tree and cover photo.
- Click on the Update Family Tree button.
How do I add the first family member to my family tree?
- Click the box near your family name to add your first member.
- Add a photo, name and other details of the first member of your family.
- Click the Add Member button in the box.
How do I add additional members (even a pet)?
- With you mouse, hover over the 1st family member and click on the “add member” icon.
- Select the relationship to the first member from the drop down menu.
- Upload a photo, add a name and other details.
- Click the Add Member button in the box.
How do I edit a family member already added to the family tree?
- With you mouse, hover over the family member that you would like to edit and click on the “edit” (pencil) icon.
How do I delete a family member from the tree?
- With you mouse, hover over the family member that you would like to edit and click on the “delete” icon.
- Note if you are deleting a member with relationships attached, the relationships will also be deleted.
How do I add a child to my family tree?
- Using the “add member” icon, add at least one parent of the child first. You may also add the child’s other parent or choose “other” when adding the child.
- Then you can add a child.
How do I invite collaborators to my family tree?
- With you mouse, hover over the Family Tree that you would like to invite collaborators and click on the “envelope” (invite) icon.
- Add the emails of the collaborators in the pop up window and a message from you.
- Click on the Send button.
How do I specify the access a collaborator has?
- In your account dashboard, you have the option to specify if an invited collaborator has “view only”, “add” or “edit” access.
