How do I start creating a family tree and life story?

• Simply create an account, log in, and click on the + Create Family Tree button.
• Once you have members on your family tree click on the “Life Story” (book) icon of a member to create a life story.

What does the free account include?

• With the free account you may capture a life story for 1 member with multiple chapters as well as create a family tree with up to 20 members.

Can I invite family members to collaborate on my family tree and life stories?

• Yes! You may invite family members via email and choose the access level of “view only”, “add,” or “edit”.

What can I add to a family member’s life story?

• You may add text, upload photos, YouTube links, video files, audio files, and PDF documents.
• The file limit is 100MB.

I am having trouble with uploads and cropping?

• Although zndgy has been tested and works on many browsers, we find that Chrome gives the best experience.

Which cookies do you use?

• At this time zndgy only uses strictly necessary and functionality cookies. zndgy does not use data analytics or marketing cookies. Your private, password protected family tree and life stories are for your and your family’s enjoyment.

I have created a family tree and/or life story and I need more help.

• Within your zndgy account, there is Help button consisting of a step-by-step reference guide to help you build a family tree and create life stories. You may also contact help@zndgy.org with any questions, comments, or suggestions.
